De Mercedes-Benz W126 of S-klasse (afgeleid van Superklasse) was het topmodel van het Duitse automerk in de jaren 80. De auto werd in verschillende carrosserievarianten geproduceerd, waaronder ook een stijlvolle coupé, de SEC. De meest exclusieve uitvoering was zonder twijfel de 560 SEC, een zeer luxueuze en schitterende coupé met een indrukwekkende 5,6 liter V8 motor. Het ontwerp is afkomstig van de bekende Italiaans-Duitse ontwerper Bruno Sacco.

Deze in 1986 geproduceerde Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC is oorspronkelijk in Italië geleverd en sinds een aantal jaren in Nederland. En zonder twijfel is deze stijlvolle klassieke auto in indrukwekkend mooie conditie en het is duidelijk te zien dat de eigenaren deze auto met veel liefde en zorg hebben onderhouden. Er is helaas niet veel documentatie meer bij de auto aanwezig, maar aan de hand van de documenten die wel aanwezig zijn, is nog wel wat (onderhouds)historie te vinden en is de auto in Italië ook bij de A.S.I. ingeschreven geweest.

De carrosserie is in zeer goede tot (bijna) perfecte conditie. De zwartmetallic carrosseriekleur (officieel Blauwschwarz Metallic, kleurcode 199) heeft een diepe glans en is in zeer goede conditie. In het verleden is de auto een keer professioneel overgespoten, waardoor deze stijlvolle coupé in bijna nieuwstaat is. De originele 15” lichtmetalen velgen vormen een perfecte combinatie bij deze Mercedes-Benz en zijn in zeer goede conditie. Ook de verschillende rubberdelen en afwerkingen zijn in zeer goede staat. De auto is ook voorzien van een origineel schuifdak.

Het interieur is ook in indrukwekkend goede conditie. Het perfect bijpassende lichtgrijze interieur is nog volledig origineel en in zeer goede staat. De stoelen zitten bijzonder comfortabel, wat je ook mag verwachten van deze zeer luxueuze Duitse coupé. Uiteraard is deze auto van alle comfort gemakken voorzien, zoals elektrisch bedienbare ramen rondom, elektrisch verstelbare stoelen, etc. De auto is ook nog voorzien van de originele Mercedes-Benz radio. Het dashboard is ook in zeer goede conditie en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren. De verschillende houtafwerkingen in het dashboard geven de auto extra klasse en zijn in goede conditie.

Onder de motorkap ligt een indrukwekkend motorblok. Deze 5,6 liter V8 is niet alleen schitterend om te zien, maar bijzonder heerlijk om mee te rijden. De krachtige motor levert 300 pk en dat zorgt ervoor dat je met deze auto comfortabel kunt voortbewegen. De 4-traps automaat schakelt soepel en comfortabel. Deze Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC stuurt bijzonder licht en makkelijk en de remmen voelen degelijk en goed aan.
