Deze schitterende en sportieve MGB is zonder twijfel een zeer uniek exemplaar in vergelijking met de vele standaard MGB’s (met chromen of rubber bumpers). Eind 2021 is deze goed onderhouden roadster door ons ingekocht, toen nog in de originele uitvoering met de rubber bumpers. We hebben toen besloten om deze, in 1975 geproduceerde MGB, om te bouwen naar een Sebring uitvoering. Dat betekent dus een andere voor- en achterbumper (speciaal Sebring), een nieuwe grille, verlagingsset met nieuwe veren, nieuwe velgen en banden, nieuw kleppendeksel, stijlvolle mistlampen en een mooi uitlaatsierstuk. Tijdens deze professionele ombouw hebben we ervoor gekozen om de naden bij de bumpers vakkundig weg te werken en te spuiten. We hebben de auto gelijk ook voorzien van een volledig nieuwe cabrioletkap en tonneau. Het resultaat is een schitterende MGB Roadster in de zeldzame Sebring uitvoering. Het hele project hebben wij vastgelegd in een aantal filmpjes die op ons Youtube kanaal en Instagram pagina te zien zijn.

In 2022 is de auto verkocht aan een enthousiaste liefhebber, die de auto op verschillende punten nog verder heeft verbeterd. Tijdens de aanschaf zijn de velgen antraciet gespoten met een speciaal two-tone effect. Verder is er een mooi chromen kofferrek gemonteerd met stoere vintage lederen koffer en is er een elektronische ontsteking gemonteerd. Helaas heeft deze liefhebber al na ongeveer drie jaar afscheid moeten nemen van deze unieke MGB in verband met gezondheidsredenen.

Deze MGB Sebring is in bijzonder mooie en goede conditie. De stijlvolle en sportieve witte kleur heeft een diepe glans en vormt een prachtige combinatie met het zwarte interieur. De carrosseriedelen sluiten goed op elkaar aan en ook de portieren sluiten solide en degelijk. De diverse chroom- en sierdelen zijn nog in zeer goede en glanzende staat. De volledig nieuwe verchroomde ‘bullet’ spiegels geven de auto extra stijl. De verstralers aan de voorzijde geven (in combinatie met het lederen riempje bij de motorkap) de auto een extra sportief karakter.

Het interieur is nog in zeer goede staat. De skailederen stoelen zitten bijzonder comfortabel en stevig. Het dashboard is ook in zeer goede staat en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren. Ook de klassieke radio functioneert goed. Het stijlvolle houten stuurwiel geeft samen met de houten versnellingspookknop een extra klassieke tint. De diverse chroom- en sierdelen zijn nog in prima staat.

Deze zeer goed onderhouden MGB is niet alleen prachtig om te zien, maar ook bijzonder heerlijk om mee te rijden. Uit de uitlaat komt een mooie sportief geluid en de auto rijdt zeer soepel. Het is duidelijk te merken dat de auto met zeer veel liefde is onderhouden. Als we de motorkap open doen, zien we een zeer nette en verzorgde motorruimte. Er zijn verschillende APK rapporten en onderhoudsfacturen bij deze auto aanwezig. De auto rijdt en schakelt erg soepel en ook de stuurinrichting voelt zeer goed aan. De remmen werken stevig en geven een goed gevoel. Dit is zonder twijfel een zeer unieke MGB in speciale Sebring uitvoering, die wacht op de volgende liefhebber.

This beautiful and sporty MGB is without a doubt a very unique specimen compared to the many standard MGBs (with chrome or rubber bumpers). At the end of 2021, this well-maintained roadster was purchased by us, then still in the original version with the rubber bumpers. We then decided to convert this MGB, produced in 1975, to a Sebring version. This means a different front and rear bumper (special Sebring), a new grille, lowering set with new springs, new rims and tires, new valve cover, stylish fog lamps and a beautiful exhaust trim. During this professional conversion, we chose to expertly finish and spray the seams at the bumpers. We also provided the car with a completely new convertible top and tonneau. The result is a beautiful MGB Roadster in the rare Sebring version. We have recorded the entire project in a number of videos that can be seen on our YouTube channel and Instagram page.

In 2022, the car was sold to an enthusiastic enthusiast, who further improved the car in various areas. During the purchase, the rims were sprayed anthracite with a special two-tone effect. Furthermore, a beautiful chrome luggage rack was mounted with a sturdy vintage leather suitcase and an electronic ignition was installed. Unfortunately, this enthusiast had to say goodbye to this unique MGB after about three years due to health reasons.

This MGB Sebring is in particularly beautiful and good condition. The stylish and sporty white color has a deep shine and forms a beautiful combination with the black interior. The body parts fit together well and the doors also close solidly and securely. The various chrome and trim parts are still in very good and shiny condition. The completely new chrome 'bullet' mirrors give the car extra style. The spotlights at the front (in combination with the leather strap at the bonnet) give the car an extra sporty character.

The interior is still in very good condition. The imitation leather seats are particularly comfortable and sturdy. The dashboard is also in very good condition and all instruments work properly. The classic radio also functions well. The stylish wooden steering wheel, together with the wooden gear knob, gives an extra classic touch. The various chrome and trim parts are still in excellent condition.

This very well-maintained MGB is not only beautiful to look at, but also particularly wonderful to drive. A nice sporty sound comes from the exhaust and the car drives very smoothly. It is clearly noticeable that the car has been maintained with a lot of love. When we open the hood, we see a very neat and well-maintained engine compartment. There are various MOT reports and maintenance invoices with this car. The car drives and shifts very smoothly and the steering also feels very good. The brakes work firmly and give a good feeling. This is without a doubt a very unique MGB in a special Sebring version, waiting for the next enthusiast.
