Deze unieke Saab 96 uit 1976 is een prachtige replica van de legendarische rally Saab 96 van het team Blomqvist / Eklund. De auto is helemaal aangepast voor rallygebruik en dat is op zeer professionele wijze uitgevoerd. Niet alleen optisch, maar ook technisch is de auto vakkundig geprepareerd voor rally deelname. Deze unieke Saab 96 uit 1976 is een prachtige replica van de legendarische rally Saab 96 van het team Blomqvist / Eklund. De auto is helemaal aangepast voor rallygebruik en dat is op zeer professionele wijze uitgevoerd. Niet alleen optisch, maar ook technisch is de auto vakkundig geprepareerd voor rally deelname. Het resultaat is een schitterende Saab 96 met de unieke en originele Blomqvist / Eklund bestickering.
Oorspronkelijk is de auto afkomstig uit Zweden. Naast de Zweedse kentekenplaten zijn ook verschillende Zweedse documenten bij de auto aanwezig. De auto is inmiddels enkele jaren aanwezig in Nederland en zowel optisch als technisch volledig gerenoveerd. Tijdens de revisie zijn er ook veel verbeterpunten uitgevoerd, zoals onder andere de montage van een 1-2-3 ontsteking, een Kenlow fan (met thermostaat) voor de radiateur, een extra elektrisch aangestuurde benzinepomp (naast de standaard mechanische benzinepomp), Greenstuff race/rally remmen voorzijde, Ferodo remmen achter, speciale Braided remleidingen, een sportuitlaat van Simons (met verstevigde ophangingen), een aluminium 70 liter benzinetank en uiteraard willen we de speciale Bilstein sport schokdempers niet vergeten. De dubbele Weber carburateurs zijn optimaal afgesteld en de motor loopt prachtig en levert 90 pk (gemeten op rollenbank).
Om de auto verder geschikt te maken voor rallygebruik zijn er ook diverse rally-accessoires gemonteerd. Hierbij kunt u denken aan de 2 Bosch verstralers, de Hella achteruitrijlamp, de Sparco sportstoelen met 4-puntsgordels en uiteraard diverse extra meters en tellers. De Terratrip 303GPS is met een voetschakelaar gemonteerd.
De auto is in zeer goede conditie en met veel zorg onderhouden. De auto is volledig in holle ruimtes getectyleerd en het resultaat is een roestvrije en harde Saab 96. Ook de lak is nog in prima conditie. De originele Saab Rallysport velgen (Soccerball) staan prachtig onder deze schitterende rally Saab.

This unique 1976 Saab 96 is a beautiful replica of the legendary rally Saab 96 of the team Blomqvist / Eklund. Not only optically, but also technically, the car has been expertly prepared for rally participation. The result is a beautiful Saab 96 with the unique and original Blomqvist / Eklund livery.
Originally the car comes from Sweden. In addition to the Swedish number plates, various Swedish documents are also present with the car. The car has been present in the Netherlands for several years now and has been completely renovated both optically and technically. During the overhaul, many points for improvement were also made, such as the installation of a 1-2-3 ignition, a Kenlow fan (with thermostat) for the radiator, an additional electrically controlled fuel pump (in addition to the standard mechanical fuel pump), Greenstuff race /rally brakes at the front, Ferodo brakes at the rear, special Braided brake lines, a sports exhaust from Simons (with reinforced suspensions), an aluminum 70 liter fuel tank and of course we don't want to forget the special Bilstein sport shock absorbers. The double Weber carburettors are optimally adjusted and the engine runs beautifully and delivers 90 hp (measured on rollers).
To further make the car suitable for rally use, various rally accessories have also been mounted. The Terratrip 303GPS is mounted with a foot switch.
